After our administrative struggle that has lasted years and our licence acquisition on 13 March 2020, we are still left with a number of concerns.
The appeal period against this issued licence also ran during the corona lockdown, and the period has now been extended from 30 to 60 days because of the lockdown.
On Friday 29 May 2020, we were notified that an appeal had been made against our licence and that the appeal was upheld. A review period of a maximum of 120 days now starts, with the advice of 10 official bodies also being taken into consideration.
At the same time we received an invitation from the POVC to attend the appeals commission, which will presumably sit on 11 August 2020.
These matters mean we will no longer be able to have everything ready for the reopening of the complete circuit during the 2020 season. We accordingly hope for a favourable judgement from the environmental licencing commission, to still be able to start the necessary work and adaptations of our circuit this year.
We then hope to be able to organise our opening in the spring of 2021, after which we can again organise our beloved hobby on an adapted and complete circuit.
To be continued …
With sporting and kind regards,
