Dear fellow sports fan,
Dear all,

After we had obtained our environmental permit in March of this year, an appeal was submitted. This appeal was filed and heard within the set period of 120 days.

Advice was requested from ten official authorities during the procedure. All ten authorities recommended in our favour!
The GOVC (regional environmental permit commission) put all the opinions in a recommendation, that was submitted to the appropriate Minister of the Flemish Government.

This week Minister Zuhal Demir acted upon this recommendation and granted us a permit.

We can now start working on the binding, alleviating measures included in the permit. We hope to be ready for the 2021 season so we can then happily resume our racing.
